Every amount awarded through this competition is a business sponsorship, paid by the partner in return for promoting their brand. It is not a prize or a gift. By taking part and accepting an award, you enter into a sponsorship agreement and agree to carry the partner's branding.
You must accept the sponsorship agreement in the app before you can be awarded a weekly or monthly sponsorship. Until you accept, you still appear on the leaderboards but can't be awarded.
Weekly sponsorship: you must carry the partner's logo on your kit, bike, helmet or similar for the season.
Monthly sponsorship: the partner's logo must be your main sponsor, the largest and most prominent logo on your kit and bike, for the season.
Proof: you must upload a clear photo showing the logo on your kit or bike within 30 days of being awarded. The sponsorship is paid only once the photo is approved.
If the branding isn't carried: the sponsorship is held and not paid. If no photo has been approved after 30 days, the sponsorship is forfeited. If you choose the training day instead of cash, the same obligation applies and the day is arranged once your photo is approved.
Each month SponsorMe runs a competition with a business partner. There is a £100 weekly sponsorship and a £1,000 monthly sponsorship draw.
Weekly rounds run Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 (Europe/London). Monthly totals reset when a new monthly campaign begins. Server time is used, not your device time.
Only eligible athlete accounts may take part. Your athlete profile must be complete and published, and you must meet the athlete eligibility requirements set during registration. Staff, test and suspended accounts are excluded.
Every athlete gets a unique tracked link promoting the current business partner. The weekly leaderboard is ranked by verified unique opens of that link.
The highest-placed eligible athlete at the end of the week is awarded the weekly sponsorship and chooses either £100 or a Tommy Searle training day. They then sits out the following week, along with any other athlete or team profile they manage, so sponsorships are shared around. They are eligible again the week after that.
The top three eligible places each receive one entry into the £1,000 monthly draw. The monthly draw is one entry per athlete per month, and sitting out a week never removes an entry already earned.
Tie-break: the athlete who reached the tied total first ranks higher. If timestamps are identical, an audited random tie-break is used. Entry is always free.
Taps on the Share button are analytics only and never affect competition results. A verified open is a genuine new person opening your unique partner link and spending time on the page.
One person counts once. Each device counts once per athlete per week, even if it opens the link again on a different network. The visitor needs to stay on the page for a few seconds and scroll or tap.
Excluded: you opening your own link, repeat refreshing, duplicate opens from the same visitor or device during the weekly round, bots and social-media preview crawlers, automated traffic, and suspicious traffic patterns. Opens from VPN, proxy or data-centre networks are held for review.
During a sudden spike, new opens wait about two hours before they count. If nothing looks wrong, they're added to your total automatically.
Each qualified athlete receives exactly one equal entry per month. Finishing in the weekly top three again does not provide another entry, and unused entries are not passed down to fourth place. The £1,000 sponsorship is awarded to an athlete selected at random from the final list of unique qualified athletes using a cryptographically secure random number generator, and the result is logged for audit.
The monthly leaderboard combines verified opens across every weekly round that month and keeps counting after an athlete has won or qualified. A higher monthly position does not provide additional draw entries.
Live results are shown as provisional until verification is complete.
